Short version: At 100 and 1,000 transactions, Koinly and CoinLedger cost the same ($49 and $99 per tax year). CoinTracker starts at $59 and has more in-between tiers (250, 2,500, 10,000), but at 1,000 transactions its plan is $199. CoinLedger lists a 14-day full money-back guarantee; CoinTracker refunds within 30 days if you haven’t downloaded tax forms. All three let you import and see gains before paying.

- Count your transactions first. Import free into one tool and read the count. Bot and API traders often land in the thousands; see crypto trading bot taxes.
- Up to 100: Koinly or CoinLedger at $49; CoinTracker at $59.
- Between 250 and 1,000: Koinly or CoinLedger at $99, versus $199 for CoinTracker Prime.
- Want a refund window: CoinLedger (14 days) or CoinTracker (30 days, before you download forms).
