FixMyCryptoTax 1099-DA reconciler

Your files stay with you

Your exchange files

The 1099-DA reconciler, the cost basis calculator and the Kraken tax estimator read your CSV files and do the math in your browser tab. Your files are not uploaded to us. You can check: open your browser's developer tools (Network tab), or turn on airplane mode after the page loads; the tools still work.

The only server call the reconciler makes is the license check for the paid report, which sends just the license key. Keys are not logged or stored.

Pageviews

We keep a first-party pageview log: the page path, the referring site's domain, any utm tags in the link, and whether the visitor looks like a bot. No IP addresses and no cookies are stored.

Email

If you sign up for 1099-DA updates, your email address is used only for those updates. It is never sold or shared, and every email has an unsubscribe link. See the disclosure for details, or write to john@revxl.net to have your address deleted.

Links to other sites

Buy buttons and partner links go through a tracked /go/ redirect on the founder's site (see the disclosure), which records the partner and the page the click came from, then sends you on. Gumroad, Koinly and CoinLedger have their own privacy policies.
